Course:

It will be on a paved loop through the HILLS of Las Sendas. The 10K will be chip timed by CEP Timing, LLC. There will be multiple water stations along the course. Bathrooms will be available at the start/finish line. The 1 mile fun run/walk will NOT be timed. The fun run course has slight incline and decline, no hills. The course is USATF CERTIFIED. 10K certification code: AZ11003TLB. ***There will be NO 1/2 Marathon in 2012*

**Please note our cut off time is 10:30 am. The course will close down after this time. If you are not finished by 10:30am please move to the sidewalk and obey all traffic laws.

10k Course - Route Map

*Overflow Parking will be available on the SW corner of Power Rd and Thomas. Please walk across the intersection into Las Sendas and golf carts will provide rides into the event. Please note, Red Mountain Rd will shut down at 8:10am for the 10K to begin.

Race Day Events:

7:15am Check-in & on site registration (cash/check) begin

8:20am 10K begins

8:30am Fun run/walk begins

8:00-11:00am Family fun zone (Park, bounce houses provided. PANCAKE BREAKFAST available for purchase. $5 person or $20 per family)

Fees:

10K $25 (includes shirt) if register before January 28, 2012

Fun run/walk $15 (includes shirt & gift), $5 for children 10 and under.

*add $5 starting January 28, 2011 for 10K registration. No mail in registration postmarked after Feb. 5, 2012.

*day of event walk up registration is available for an additional $5 with cash only (shirt not guaranteed).

Day of event prices $35 for 10K, $20 for Fun Run

*shirts will be unisex (male) sizes, childrens shirts available for sale at event for $8.

*Children are $5 - Includes Fun Run and Kids Zone (Bounce Houses, Rock Wall, Face Painting and Treats Available)

*Children with CHD's are FREE.

*strollers welcome at the back of the race crowd

*Dogs are permitted, but we ask that you run at the back of the race crowd. We would appreciate you keeping your dogs leashed.

Timing & Awards: 10K event to be chip timed by CEP Timing. Plaques to male and female overall winners. Then medals to male & female by age group 19 & under / 20-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60 +. Participant Ribbons for Fun Run.
